@aarondfrancis 👍 I love using ORMs in my projects. Makes code so much easier to read – for me at least. But I also write a lot of one-off SQL queries just to check things. I'm no super-pro and have to look up the signature of date_format everytime, but don't want to miss that power SQL gives.
