@warsh33p I personally always interpreted it this way. That website seems to have the same opinion: studyinginswitzerland.com/swiss-greeting/ I would never say "Grüezi" to a friend or family member. Would be a weird vibe. Like saying "Guten Tag Vater".Permalink On twitter.com

@warsh33p It's funny though. When hiking, 99% of all people you cross will greet you with "Grüezi". I only had one contact which greeted us with "Hallo".On twitter.com
