        @jbrooksuk Dec 2013: Sent the first email to the rest of the team about Laravel. March 2014: Team and I built new massive Laravel app. (In hindsight be made a few terrible architecture decisions here; but we've learned a lot too)

      @jbrooksuk July 2014: Launched my first side project with Laravel. @screeenly March 2015: Rewrote our first CodeIgniter app to Laravel. Nov 2016 to July 2017: Started the biggest rewrite/migration in my career: Merge the 2 biggest apps in the company into 1 single Laravel app.

    @jbrooksuk @screeenly We've rewritten basically every UI and feature from the ground up. Written tests for everything. We're really proud of it! In the last 2 years we've migrated more and more stuff into queues. It's such a cool project to work on. Can't imagine how I would work without Laravel today

      @jbrooksuk @screeenly For 3 years now I have a ~2000 word article draft sitting in my editor, which describes the lessons learned from this. Someday I will finish it. 🤞
