    1. 🎉 Happy to finally share a new little side project: Laravel Download Statistics A little app which aggregates the download numbers of Laravel and gives you some insights on how popular certain versions of the framework are. laravel-download-statistics.stefanzweifel.io

The idea originally came from the question "Which Laravel Versions should my packages support?". Is 5.7 enough? For me the answer is: the last 2 version are enough. 5.7 and 5.8 combined were the most popular versions last month. laravel-download-statistics.stefanzweifel.io/downloads/by-month/2019-03/

The design is definitely not perfect (I still don't like the charts), but it's a start. The code is open source, so if you have suggestions feel free to open an Issue or Pull Request. github.com/stefanzweifel/laravel-download-statistics-app (Will add a sqlite database with the complete dataset soon)

📊 Some cool stats about Laravel: In its first month after the release in February, Laravel 5.8 has already been downloaded 16'000 times. Thats 25% of all downloads in March. Laravel 4.0 has been released in March 2013. How the time flies.

And the coolest thing: The app is hosted on Netlify. 🤯 All views have been exportet as static files with @spatie_be new laravel-export package: github.com/spatie/laravel-export
